Fullmoon wo sagashite is my favorite Shoujo story and it’s from my favroite Mangaka Arina Tanemura.
I adore Tanemura-sensei nya!
Fullmoon wo sagashite is an Music-Anime and the maincharacter Kouyama Mitsuki is dubbed from the great artist Myco from the band in the past “Changin’ my life”.
But to that later, for now I want to show the both OP’s of Fullmoon wo sagashite nya.
Mitsuki is an 12 years old girl and lives by her Obaa-chan.
This is Mitsuki:
Mitsuki wanted since she was a little girl to become a great singer and her love Eichi wanted to become an astronomer.
The last time as Mitsuki has seen Eichi, he travelled to America to start his instruction to an astronomer nya.
Mitsuki is sick and has problems with her vocal cords and she must be operated, but she could lose her voice forever…
But she still gives her best to become a famous singer. As she got a inivation to an audition is her doctor Wakaouji against that. By the way, he looks like Eichi just as adult nya.

As Mitsuki is alone in her room again, does come the Shinigami’s Takuto Kira and Meroko Yui, which are together “Negi Ramen” and tell her, she has not more long time to live.

After a conversation with those both she fleed to the right studio where she have her audition and through some things with Negi Ramen-Mahou, she becomes from time to time a 16 years old gool with blonde hair nya. That’s Fullmoon!
What’s very special on this series is, that the ED’s songs are sung by Fullmoon self nya.

Ah, I love this type of anime~! It seems to hit off on two main themes that I really like to watch/read about: when the everyday human life is visited by elements of the supernatural, and when a certain character has something that they have to overcome. ^^
Good conflict, good characters, and good music~

I hope I have a chance to finish watching this show someday, it was pretty good from what I remember but I didn’t have time to watch it back then. ^^; I also really like Tanemura’s other work, Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne. :)
This anime seems fairly interesting. I’d like to check it out now, but I’m currently watching and catching up on other shows. Perhaps when I’m done with those I’ll watch a few episodes of this to see if I’ll like it. I did watch the first opening you linked and I did like the song. Had a very retro feel to it. To me at least.
This anime was pretty nicely made. It didn’t loose the original feel of the manga too much.
